There are so many different styles and shapes out there for the taking, lots taking cues from different eras, and a more sophisticated time and place, which makes a hat a great accessory for adding extra spice to an otherwise simple outfit. They also seem like a great way for disguising 2nd, or 3rd, or maybe even 4th day hair. Not that I've ever gone that long without washing my hair...
I just love this little hat! So adorable. Give me a carpet bag and a talking parrot umbrella and I'd be set
A much more stylish approach to the floppy brim sunhat, in my opinion.
I am in love with this hat. Seriously. As Rachel Zoe would say, I Die. I don't know if it's the shape, or the floral ribbon that ties in a bow in the back, or the fact that it looks similar to something Audrey wore at one point in time. It must be a combination of the three. Regardless, it's been added to my birthday wish list.
The instant I saw this, I thought of Clark Griswold, and then I laughed out loud. I think turbans are fabulous, I just don't think I'll ever have a time or a place to wear one.
Have a great Tuesday!

Cardigans are my favorite piece of clothing too! I just love them. And I'm afraid of hats too, I just don't think they look good on me :/ But spring brings a great time for wearing sweet hats
ReplyDeletehats are adorable, but i'm with you--kinda scary to wear seriously, you know? i have an enormous noggin, which doesn't help matters, either.
ReplyDeletesuch a great post. bring on spring!
