Sunday Sweets

I love days like today. Gorgeous weather, lots of time spent outside with the fam, and strawberry shortcake to round things out. Exactly what I needed after an absolute gong show of a day yesterday. Having said that, I didn't have a chance to take pictures of very many cakes yesterday. Not even the super cute black and white Chanel purse cake that I made, which makes me want to cry a little bit. Oh well. I promise this week I will be more diligent. In the mean time, here are the pics that I did manage to get. 

 A 50's themed cake for a 50th birthday

This Tinkerbell-esque fairy went on top of a little turtle shaped cake, which I obviously didn't get a picture of.
