It has been an unbelievably long time since I've posted anything! Work has kept me super busy, but I'm loving it! Everyday I get to do what I love, and it's awesome. You wouldn't think that decorating cakes all day would be hard work, but somedays I come home and it takes everything I have not to flop into bed and stay there till morning. But that's besides the point.. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so I thought I'd share a little something. Every year we have a family Halloween party, and I honestly look forward to it almost as much as Christmas. And seeing as I work at Crazy Cakes, I thought it would be appropriate to contribute cake to the party menu. These are what I came up with...
I think they turned out pretty cute, no? In any case, I had a ton of fun making them. Another Halloween tradition is pumpkin carving. As far as pumpkin carvers go, we're pretty much as hardcore as they come. After a solid 2 hours of carving, I finished my pumpkin, which I'm pretty proud of.
All in all, it was a fantastic Halloween. I've been working a ton lately, so getting to kick back and relax with my family was sooo nice. It's back to the regular grind come Tuesday, but I'm going to try my hardest to be better at posting. I have some cakes that I'm excited to share. Until then, cheers!
